An ordinal date is the number of the day in the full year of 365 days for a given Gregorian date. For example, the ordinal date for January 1st is 1 and, for February 1st, its 32. This simple tool converts Gregorian dates to their ordinal dates (often misnamed Julian dates) and vice versa. Leap years are handled automatically. To find the Gregorian date for an ordinal date, first set the year, then the ordinal.
